About Us
SAGE is a full service not-for-profit seniors' organization whose mandate is to build and maintain a broad range of programs and services that enhance the quality of life for seniors and their families in the greater Edmonton area. With over 37 years of experience, SAGE is regarded as a major provider of innovative seniors' services in the capital region.

Programs & Services

Guardianship Services provides resources, referrals and support services as well as information about Personal Directives, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Wills and duties of the Executor.

Health Services arranges for a nurse from Capital Health to administer the Foot Care Clinic, test blood pressure and perform weight checks free of charge.

Home Services connects seniors with reliable, responsible workers for the maintenance of the interior and exterior of their homes.

Housing Services provides information and referrals on accommodations for seniors in Edmonton.

Income Tax Program is staffed by volunteers who help with everything you need in order to file your taxes in an accurate and timely manner.

Member Services administers courses, activities and special events, and coordinates the broad range of common interest groups that meet on a weekly basis.

Multicultural Seniors Outreach connects with immigrant and refugee seniors through engaging activities and special events that allow them to feel a valued part of our community.

Seniors' Safe House is a unique shelter for seniors who need a safe place to live when leaving an abusive situation.

Social Work Services will answer all of your questions about financial, health and government matters, and connect seniors, their families and caregivers to the community resources they require.

The Sunshine Café creates delicious, nutritious and reasonably-priced meals to suit any discerning palate.

SAGE Link, the quarterly newsletter provided exclusively for members, keeps you entertained and up-to-date with issues of interest.
SAGE issues yearly the Directory of Seniors Services. It is a consolidation of two former publications: Directory of Seniors' Services and the Seniors' Housing Guide.
