Directory of Senior Services 2010 - Includes the seniors' housing information
This 250-page resource guide is the industry standard for information resources and housing information related to older adults in greater Edmonton. Besides comprehensive housing information, it highlights over 450 services, agencies and businesses that serve the older adults of greater Edmonton including:
- Senior Centres & Groups, Senior Services Information, Consumer Resources, Education, Elder Abuse, Employment & Volunteer Opportunities, Finance, Government Services, Health & Well Being, Housing, Help in the Home, Citizenship & Immigration Services, Legal Services & Estate Planning, Leisure / Entertainment, Personal Safety, Transportation
- The Housing Section has been completely reorganized to reflect current thinking on housing in the sector. Its focus is on finding housing in the Home Living, Supportive Living or Facility Living Stream. Aids to doing that are sections on Tips on Choosing a Home and a Supportive Living Checklist. Information on other housing resources, registries, helplines and home relocation is also included.

The Directory is a free publication and can be picked up at your local Senior Centre, at SAGE and at many other senior-serving agencies in the city. It is distributed to over 500 senior-serving agencies, physicians, legal firms, businesses and government services. It is also available in stands in local grocery stores, at banks and on the street for a month or so after the initial publication.
