Safe House

The SAGE Safe House provides temporary accommodations for men and women 60 years of age and older who require a safe haven from an abusive situation.

Services provided during an individual's stay are:

• Housing in a safe, furnished suite for up to 60 days free of charge, complete with meals and snacks
• Emotional support from staff
• Professional case management assistance including outreach services and follow-up
• Connections to community resources
• Practical assistance with arranging finances, coordinating permanent housing and referrals to legal services

Accessing the SAGE Safe House

If you or someone you know is experiencing elder abuse and is in need of temporary accommodations, please call 780-702-1520 between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. You can also e-mail questions to jhall@MySage.ca or kdamer@MySage.ca. After business hours, weekends and holidays, please contact the Seniors' Abuse HelpLine at 780-454-8888 for 24-hour phone support.

For all emergencies, please call the police.
