Food and Finance Workshop

Join us for a Food and Finance workshop to learn some valuable information and easy to implement steps. 

In the Food and Finance workshop, presented by the Credit Counselling Society, you will learn about:

  • The factors that impact your food budget
  • Tracking your food budget & creating a meal plan to save money
  • Tips on saving money on groceries & through sales, coupons & bulk buying
  • How expensive convenience meals can be and how you can save
  • Shrink your entertainment expenses and still have fun with your family & friends
  • Benefits of balancing food requirements and food budget
  • Smartphone apps that can save you money

This interactive and fun workshop will last 90 minutes. All participants will walk away with ideas, resources and the full curriculum upon request.

This session can help you get organized with your meal planning, shopping and cooking which saves you time and money while nourishing yourself or your self and  family with healthy meals.

When? Tuesday, July 30 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
