Garden Loft — A New Housing Option for Seniors

This webinar presents the results of architectural research into the development of Garden Loft - a new made-in-Alberta housing option that enables seniors and others with differing abilities to continue living independently for a longer period of time. The units have physical and digital support systems that adapt to meet the specific health profile of the resident both upon initial move-in and as their needs evolve.

Listen to GeriActors Newest Audio Play, Reading the Signs

Join GeriActors for a virtual listening session of their newest audio play, Reading the Signs. Just as they are inventing rear view cameras, warning buzzers for changing lanes, and self-driving cars, Jack has to give up driving. Reading the Signs was inspired by some of our members' experiences with driving and giving up one’s drivers license. During the listening session, participants will have the opportunity to listen to the play with others and discuss the themes presented in the play.
