Join The Tale Treasury’s movement to connect generations and unite families.
Fascinating research has found that children who know a lot about their families tend to be more resilient and do better when they face challenges. The Tale Treasury aims to connect Edmonton youth with elders in their families and communities through an oral history curriculum for local schools.
The Tale Treasury Legacy Foundation is currently looking for volunteer facilitators to visit local schools, to teach elementary to high school students’ interview and writing techniques through The Tale Treasury’s oral history curriculum.
If you are able to commit a minimum of one hour per month, for a period of 3 months, and are interested in working with children, please contact Nicole Beart from Memory Catcher at 780-722-0992 or visit www.memorycatcher.ca/thetaletreasury for more information.
