In partnership with Caregivers Alberta, social workers from Sage will be co-facilitating five support sessions for caregivers from the cultures of South Asia on Thursdays (February 3 - March 31) from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Topics include: immigrant caregivers and their challenges, how to prevent caregiver burnout, elder abuse and caregiving, family relationships, and positive caregiving strategies.
Please note, this group is for people from the cultures of South Asia, and sessions will be held in Hindi, Nepalese, Urdu and functional Punjabi.
