Is your balance less than it used to be? Is changing a light bulb too difficult to perform? Do you tire easily by performing a simple task?
Data suggests that falls account for over 85 percent of all injury-related hospitalizations among seniors.
Sage is offering Better Balance Classes (Slips, Trips, and Falls Prevention) every Monday until December 1. Presented by a University of Alberta student clinic, this one hour intense balance and exercise class will help restore your balance. These classes will help you reduce falls, and improve your physical function and balance.
The classes run from 2:30-3:30 in the Sage Auditorium, and cost just 5.00 a session. For more information, call Rachel at 780-701-9016.
