Do you identify as LGBTQ2S? Are you 55+? Would you be willing to complete a brief online survey about housing preferences and seniors’ facilities?
A number of people from the LGBTQ2S community have come together to learn more about the hopes and concerns of those who identify as LGBTQ2S if they were to move into a seniors’ facility.
Thanks to funding from the Edmonton Seniors Coordinating Council, through SAGE, we are able to take the first steps toward learning more about the assumptions and expectations of LGBTQ2S seniors as they begin to consider seniors’ housing options. We are starting with a completely anonymous survey that asks about your housing preferences and concerns as you look ahead.
We are hoping to reach a minimum of 200 people 55+ by September 30, so please share the survey link others.
The survey is completely anonymous and works reliably on a desktop computer or tablet, but is not the best fit for not-always-smart smartphones.
People who are not comfortable with the computer version can also respond on paper and return the completed survey to Eric Storey at SAGE, 15 Sir Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton, Alberta T5J 2E5. If you would prefer to drop them off, the location is the NW corner of 102A Avenue and 100 Street.
