On June 5, Sage will be hosting a holistic, asset-based showcase of what it means to be a senior today to kick off Seniors’ Week in Alberta.
The itinerary of events will include the Sage Zumba Gold seniors’ group providing an intergenerational demonstration of Zumba with 25 Grade Six students from St. Philip Elementary School, an information and resource fair for seniors and their families that will include a mixture of displays of various Sage programs, coffee and refreshments, live entertainment by local seniors’ groups and door prizes to conclude the day.

11:20 a.m. Intergenerational Zumba and Snacks (Auditorium)
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Sage display booths and door prize entries (all 3 floors)
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Various entertainment in Café:
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Ukulele Group
12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. Line Dancers
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Live Music
1:30 p.m. Cake and door prize draws (Café)
Sage will also be hosting a variety of activities throughout Seniors' Week including Seniors' Tea at the Legislature, a financial literacy presentation, a City Hall tour, and a Devonian Gardens' Trip.
We also invite you to join us for our Pride Week Seniors Strawberry Tea and Variety Show! Join us on June 15 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Sage for a celebration of LGBTQ seniors and Pride Week. There will be live entertainment, performances, tea, strawberry dessert and more! Hosted by Sage’s Over the Rainbow group.
