The second annual Seniors’ Health & Wellness Forum, Presented by Age Friendly Edmonton, will feature presentations and panel discussions on health, wellness and social supports vital to healthy aging. Topics include: planning for a healthy future, the importance of reducing safety risks as we age, housing options, information on supporting key relationships, financial strategies, transportation, supports and services, and the importance of social connections to our health and wellbeing.
This free event, which is open to the public, is assembled and promoted by key community stakeholders, and provides an opportunity to showcase a holistic and collaborative approach to healthy aging.
The Seniors' Health & Wellness Forum will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at the Central Lions Seniors Recreation Centre (11113 113 St.) from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
