OUTREACH COORDINATOR, SENIORS SOCIAL SERVICES
The Outreach Coordinator will address the social and emotional needs of older adults through assessment, support, and connecting to resources based on individualized case plans. This position will work collaboratively with other workers and organizations to provide services, as well as identifying gaps in services and advocating for the needs of clients. The goal of the program is to support the wellbeing of the senior and enhance their wellness in the long term. This program is delivered with commitment to equity, inclusion and honouring cultural and social diversities.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
This position is a temporary, 0.8 FTE (Monday-Thursday) 12 week term. The location is in person at 15 Sir Winston Churchill Square in Edmonton. The starting pay range of this position is $23.32 - $28.82 per hour. Pay level considerations are based on assessment of the successful candidate’s education, skills, previous experience and other factors. Sage Seniors Association offers an outstanding work-life balance with a 35-hour work-week and paid sick time This is a non-benefitted position but the successful candidate will qualify for 6% vacation pay. Sage also provides pro-rated re-imbursement for annual Social Work Registration fees as well as annual liability insurance premiums. Sage also observes 13 statutory holidays in the calendar year.
