Housing Information Services

“The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.”
- Maya Angelou

The Housing program works to increase seniors' knowledge of housing options in Edmonton and area. Sage's Housing Information Services provides information, referrals and support for seniors seeking subsidized or non-subsidized housing. We are here to help you find safe and affordable housing that suits your needs.

Sage provides:

  • Current housing information, resource material and referrals.
  • Information on housing and other services for seniors through its yearly publication of the Directory of Senior Services. The Directory includes a large housing section that provides rental rates, eligibility requirements, supports and features for accommodations in Edmonton and the surrounding area.
  • Community presentations for agencies or organizations about seniors' housing and Sage services.
  • Support and information for seniors considering moving.
  • Information on the housing process and how to navigate the system.

Home Relocation Services:
If you are ready to move to another level of housing, Sage can help you look at what you need to do to downsize. Staff will assist you in finding someone to help sort and pack, then move and unpack.

Please note that Sage does not own or operate housing. Housing Information Services does not provide crisis housing.

To reach our Housing program, please call 780-423-5510, extension 323 or 587-773-1764 to leave a voicemail, and one of our social workers will return your call within 2 business days.
